Excellent

I thought this title was really excellent. The moves demonstrated are a lot more realistic than dojo style self defense. I teach taekwondo and I'm incorporating some of the things i have learned on this dvd in my classes with some great results. Another great addition to Mr Wong's series.

Better than his other DVD's
Matt Richards from Wolverhampton, England, 6th October, 2005
This DVD demonstrates how Wing Chun might be applied in a 'real' situation. It is well put together and makes for entertaining viewing. Unlike his DVD's on forms, I'd happily recommend this DVD to Wing Chun practitioners as a resource. Some of the techniques would in all honesty be unworkable under pressure. If you don't pressure test your techniques, there's no point in training. Maybe Michael Wong, with his years of rigorous training, could make use of these techniques. Your average Joe who trains twice a week would struggle with some of them, however.

Quite good

Quite a good DVD. Arranged into several sections. Some knowledge is assumed (eg correct punching and kicking technique). Good slow motions and explanations.

Not a bad DVD overall, however i think Master Wong should allow someone else to do the narrative.
Does what it says!

Does what it says, shows how wing chun is applied in street fights/defences. Some caveats:- This is not for the beginner. You need to be proficient with Wing Chun or similar system. You will need to be mindful or very practised in real-life situation.
