With Great East Falls High now just a memory, the kids have grown into adults ready to wreak havoc with a new rite of passage: Jim and Michelle are getting married--in a hurry. Jim's grandmother is sick and wants to see Jim walk down the aisle, so they're going for it in two frantic weeks. Stifler plans to be there (for the bridesmaids!) and, more importantly, to throw the ultimate bachelor party (for the strippers!). Finch is all for the hedonistic rituals, but not for letting Stifler steal the maid of honor, who happens to be Michelle's sexy younger sister, Cadence. But while everybody else sweats and frets, Jim's Dad is cool as ever, dispensing advice that no one wants to hear and getting ready for one of the best days of his life.

Radio Times

How you feel about a third helping of American Pie will of course depend on how the first two servings went down. For some, these adolescent sex comedies were the living proof of how popular cinema had plumbed new depths in taste. For others, who spotted the essential sweetness at the heart of the confection it was a worthy successor to the John Hughes teen-fests of the 1980s. For this supposedly ultimate slice, in which series regulars Jim (Jason Biggs) and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) attempt to tie the knot, writer Adam Herz delivers the familiar recipe of bawdy set pieces that culminate in a shamelessly upbeat and sentimental ending. Nothing new then, and as revolting and foul mouthed as ever, but this will be a reasonably satisfying final course for Pie fans everywhere.

American Pink Flamingos

Waterboy from from Hertfordshire, 29th March, 2007

Perhaps a sequel too far. While the overall cuteness and adolescent sex based humour continue in the (hopefully) final film of this trilogy, there are a couple of really gross out moments, which I really didn't enjoy (Pink Flamingos did the original). I still laughed outloud at some of the humour, but this was a dissapointment after AP and AP2.

The Chick Flic for Both Sexes!

Rhys Thomas from Cardiff, 7th March, 2004

This film breaks the formular from its brilliant, yet samey predecessers. With all the sentiments from another Wedding movie this film adds the dirty sence of humour that all the others are missing!

Sean William Scott is back on top form in what I would say is a Pantomimic version of his Character Stiffler. Jim keeps his klumsy antics up. Finch Kicks ass and rocks the space, while Kevin, Michelle and Jim's Dad are dissapointingly ignored!

Full of hilarious moments including Stiffler in a Gay bar, a role reversal btween Finsh and Stiffler, and a chocolate truffle :S and the bacholar party is much improved on the DVD!

A Brilliant Movie to end an excellent excellent trillogy! The Best teen movies in the world!!!

Never hits its stride

Maxx from London, 9th March, 2004

The first one was hilarious. The second one used a lot of the same jokes, but it worked. American Pie: The Wedding tries to do it again, but never seems to hit its stride. You always feel that it is trying too hard to be as funny and innovative with its gags as the first two. There isn’t too much more that the characters can do and there is certainly no development of them as individuals (even though they have supposedly finished college). Even more annoying is the absence of Oz from the first two, which isn’t mentioned at all. My advice is to wait until this hits TV.

American Pie The Wedding Death

They really should of stopped at American Pie 2. Pointless, sickly drivvle that really didn;t need to be made into a film.

Customer Review

A Customer from UK, 23rd June, 2008

The first 2 American pie films were very much the Porky's of the 90's. They were a bit over the top, a bit gross and crass but the first was a good film to sum up typical teenage life at college and not a bad film in its own right. It had a sort of feel good factor in it by the end, with a message on love and relationships. This is one sequel to far, it's ok and fairly funny but it doesn't seem to have the energy of the first two and is built around a few key scenes and ideas. Not brilliant but still good for a night's viewing. 6/10

Not quite as good as 1&2 but still deserves 5 stars.

Thomas Perkins from Plymouth, Devon, England, 3rd January, 2008

This is the 3rd (& should have been the final) American Pie. It is not quite as hilarious as the first 2 but is still an excellent film. The story is great (probably my favourite) in this film as it is Jim and Michelle's wedding which I think is a lovely way to 'end' the 'trilogy' of the films. This is still a must see film!!!
