Chinese Rubbish

jonkelly123 from from London, 14th August, 2008

Difficult to follow the sub titles which are all in crazy English and change to quickly. The plot is hard to understand. A big budget film made by the Chinese government but no good to watch in English. If your Chinese you may find it interesting as you can then understand what they are talking about.

A waste movie

A Customer from Leicester, 8th June, 2005

I guess this is one of Jet Li's worst movies. Poor storyline, (looks like remake of Indiana Jones), unrealistic & idiot kung-fu fights, worst performance by everybody (including Jet Li) are features of this movie. Dont waste your time watching this movie.

Not the best

A Customer from England, 4th August, 2004

of Jet Li's movies. There is very little action and the dubbing is not very good. Some funny scenes and dialoges, but that is about it. The story, too, is very complicated and difficult to follow. Something about some scriptures that need to be put into a box which will then tell you the future. Jet Li is a PI employed by a high government official to find this thing. There are also some villains after it (not surprising, the usual plot). Some unrealistic supernatural beings and lame ending. If this is the first Jet Li movie you are watching, then please do not watch it.

Poor film

A Customer from Kent, 15th April, 2005

I love most Jet Li films but found this one very poor. Definitely not one to watch if not an avid fan, and even then some will struggle to refrain from using the off button.
