Radio Times

Three childhood friends grow up to be renegade cops who just can't work on teams. Of course, that means the police department end up assigning them all to the same team, working “deep undercover, no backup” to bust a drug ring. Each member of this unlikeable two-man, one-woman team has his (or her) own speciality and each will, of course, come into play as they get themselves into trouble with the drug lords and — when things go wrong — their fellow cops. This suffers from being so insanely complicated that you won't know — or care — what happens by the end.

ray liotta at his best

A Customer from Edinburgh Scotland, 29th September, 2004

Ray Liotta - has never failed to impress - Liotta outshines the film which at best is a bit like Lord of the flies with adults - Strong supporting cast but the Sci Fi inclusion is unnecessary and for that reason I have rated as 4 stars

I had never heard of this film before, and rented because of the previous review. Having watched it, it is actually quite good, reminded me a bit of Waterworld, but a much lower budget and probably a better film. Some decent stunts, some decent acting, good cast, that 'Wycliff' guy from a uk tv series is in it and is a very believable, as is Ray Liotta as a hardened ex military guy. If this film had a higher budget it could have been a good hit, but for a film in the early 90's it is worth watching!

Action packed film keeps you hanging on your seat but then the ending seemed a bit rushed.

Good action movie enhanced by good solid performances from its cast , normally Ray Liotta is cast as physcotic types so it is nice to see another side of his acting personna, Shaun Wilson is excellent cast as the villain of the piece - certainly worth a watch.

Pretty Decent

Micthetic from , 20th June, 2008

Not a big fan of Mr Liotta but he's not half bad in this semi futuristic prison escape type film. His adversary Marek turns in are rather witty prerformance aswell. Lance Henriksen lends some gravitas to proceedings. Liottas flashback scenes weren't very well explained initially which was a bit off putting. Overall the whole thing holds together well , plenty of action and generally good performances all round. Definately watchable Mad Max meets The Castle maybe?

Widescreen would have got 5 Stars

yulbrynner from , 2nd March, 2008

Widescreen was forced on us in the usual communist way, ''Except it or go without'' Now that we got used to it we get crap fullscreen thrown back at us. If ever I needed to see a movie in fullscreen this was it. What the crap i'm living in the 70's. None the less the movie was ok.
