OK but slightly slow fighting

A Customer from Skegness, 11th January, 2005

quite a fun movie, but I think the translators wern't that great as plot was a bit on the wierd side and people said the oddest things (odder than normal for asian movies watched by brits) and the fighting was of that slow styleised type that does not compare well with the more modern inspired/fast styles, but a laugh all the same.

AKA Murder Of Murders

Ian Davies from Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, 14th May, 2007

Robbery, murder, double cross and intrigue. This is like a classic whodunit in the kung fu movie genre. Lo Lieh is the first actor who stands out for me, but this is Yueh Hua's film when it comes to the action. Directed by Wu Ma this is an entertaining and refreshing change.

kung fu gem

kung fu queen from london, 28th November, 2006

An original kung-fu classic which stands out from the pack. The story is its strong point as Lo Lieh dies too soon! But it does beg the question - for a kung fu classic, where is the kung fu? Even so, watch it, it's a gem!

It was quite good for it's time...drama,fighting (way better then hollywood fight scenes even too this day)moralistic and small budget to start with.I applaud it.
