Featuring a young, new crew venturing boldly where no man has gone before, Star Trek depicts Romulan time traveller Nero's bloody quest for revenge against Spock and the Federation.

Daily Mail

The result is not only by far the best of the 11 Star Trek movies, it must rank as the outstanding prequel of all time... The picture moves at a terrific pace, and is a satisfying tale of good versus evil, with Eric Bana a highly hissable villain... This is space opera on a mythic scale, and it's stirring stuff

MY FIRST BLU-RAY EXPERIENCE!

Norman Barry from Surrey, England., 9th December, 2009

A spectacular re-booting of the franchise I have fallen in and out of love with at various stages since my childhood. Lets hope they don't over milk it. Yeah, right!

Beam Me Up!!!!!

PhilK from , 7th March, 2010

I couldnt wait for this film to come out and I was more than happy to find it lived up to the hype when I watched it at the cinema. If your a trekky then this is a must but Id say this film is good enough for none trekky's too. You dont really need to know any previous trek films to watch (but back story does help) and the pace is good from start to finish.

Star Trek

closetgoth from from Newcastle, 7th March, 2010

The Blu Ray version of this movie was awesome. The CGI just blew me away. The story line was slow to start but, as a trekkie from long ago, you could see how the characters originally met which is not evident in the original movies. One thing I was not happy with was the relationship of Spock and Ahura this changed my view on Spock's character. Not necessary in a movie like this. Overall I enjoyed the movie and can't wait for the next one.

Not for Me!

jjoz88 from , 4th March, 2010

I've never really understood the facination people have with Star Trek, however i thought i'd give this a bash seeing as i like J J Abrams other work. Really quite disappointed with the plot, good CGI though. I don't know how real trekkies would react to it so i'd say if u like star trek give it a go, if not give it a miss.

Best Trek by far!

WindyAd from from Warwickshire, 3rd March, 2010

Loved the story line. The cast in my opinion matched or bettered my expectations of stepping into the shoes of some of the most recognised characters and actors of TV and film SciFi. I saw this film at the Imax when released and although great on a TV in Blu Ray format, it is definately a big screen film.
