Worth a rent, but not much more

Adrianics from , 29th November, 2009

I was very disappointed with this - It's basically a collection of featurettes on the show; two tounge-in-cheek documentaries, a faux behind-the-scenes special and a 'DVD exclusive' which is basically a collection of deleted jokes, bloopers and a few glimpes of the never-aired episode with Russell Brand as a team captain. The exclusive featurette is good for a few laughs and some of the jokes considered too controversial for air are worthy of a chuckle but there isn't enough here to justify the price tag. Rent but make sure you don't go further.

Worth watching if your a fan...

A Customer from Banbury, 28th January, 2010

It’s definitely worth watching if you’re a fan of the series, but short clips from different episodes fails to really engage you with the rapport Amstell builds with his guests. It certainly managed to muster a few laughs, with the documentary section being the highlight of the DVD, but its feels too ‘piecey’ to attract any new fans. In saying this, it does reminisce over highlights such as Amy Winehouse, Preston, Donny Tourettes and of course, the boys from Blue. Worth a quick rent, but can see it losing its comic value after a couple of views.
