Wonderful

A Customer from North Shields, 27th October, 2009

I saw this when it was first shown on UK TV. It has to be said that Michael Sheens performance is spectacular. It took no longer then 5 minutes before I forgot I was not watching a documentry with Kenneth Williams himself in the role. He captures all of Kenneth Williams nuances, weaknesses and sence of self loathing leaving you feeling true sympathy for this amazing character. Watch this if you can. You will not regret it.

interesting

A Customer from Edinburgh, 30th November, 2009

What you didn't know about the guy from the Carry On movies. A sad story but interesting all the same. Well acted. A few too many masterbation scenes for most, I imagine.

Every Rose has thorns

I've alwayz been a Kenneth fan. I grew up watching the carry on's. However i was a little disapointed in the BBC drama. I've seen a similar drama in the 90's. I was disapointed in the actor Martin's mannerisms of Kenneth. Also the actors of carry on stars didn't look like the stars they were Portraying. It's ok !

Amazing

MsLilly from , 30th December, 2009

This was an excellent portrayal of a man that we never really knew, Martin Sheen plays the role brilliantly. It's a sad story at heart of a well known man that out of the public eye is a very private and mentally tortured soul that hides his true feelings, it's quite depressing but brilliant.
