Their journey playing for home country England takes them to the center of the greatest stage on Earth and is filled with humor, romance, tragedy and redemption. Liam's world is turned upside down by a chance reunion just as he's set to enjoy the pinnacle of his professional career. This is also a 'coming of age' story for young Liam who finally faces up to his responsibilities on and off the field of play.

Awful!

A Customer from Bristol, England, 30th August, 2009

What can I say... I enjoyed Goal and Goal 2, but this film is absolutely nothing like the 1st two... I cannot stress this enough - Kuno Becker only appears in a handful of scenes and the film focuses on two losers who are trying to make the England World Cup squad... this film truly is awful! I read all the reviews which said that the film was bad and I promptly ignored them... hey I was wrong and they were right. Avoid this film - you'll thank me (and the other reviewers) for it....

Hope this is the last one

Having enjoyed the first two episodes of this series I actually feel that it should have stopped there but I suppose the world cup part of the story should have been reflected in this episode three. The storyline was pretty weak in this one and my only hope is now they will stop to offer us any more the story has been played to death.

don't do it

kellyred from , 8th September, 2009

if you are any sort of fan of the first two, for god sake don't get this one. It doesn't follow on, it has nothing to do with the first two and for some reason they have suddenly changed the main character. Poor Santiago is now just a bit part. Seriously what were they thinking - crap!
