Just another

A Customer from London, 13th December, 2009

These are getting rather common now. This is just another big Chinese war movie set a couple of thousand years ago. Can't say I was too impressed. Nicely filmed, but frankly a little yawnable. On top of that, just who was carrying all the food and camping equipment for these armies? Another classic oversight by the director. Lastly, the big hero walks into a seriously big ambush. If he was so clever, why didn't he have scouts? Hardly worth the effort.

3 kingdoms with a twist

A Customer from Liverpool, 6th December, 2009

Great kungfu action for 1-on-1 figting as well as in large groups. Horseback fighting was also very good. Very often Romance of 3 kingdoms stories/movies concentrate on the popular key characters (Guan Yu, Cao Cao, Liu Bei etc) For once a good story on another key character, Zhao Yun. No less important nor lowly skilled, Zhao Yun was a great fighter and leader. He only didn't have a dramatic end to his life which may be why he is not as popular. Finally some deserved credit to a loyal, highly skilled warrior in the 3 Kingdoms
