NOT AS GOOD AS EXPECTED

The true story aspect of the movie was alot better than the movie itself. Tom Cruise's acting is wooden at best, & the other leading roles don't make up for it. The storyline is interesting & the effects are quite good, but apart from that, there was nothing else to make me want to watch it again. DISSAPOINTING

Good in places boring in others. The major problem is you know exactly what is gonna happen before you watch it! Nice to see so many British actors playing Germans but they had to pull in an American to play the lead German role! Me thinks only to rake in some publicity for it! Glad I didnt bother buying this as its one of those films once you have seen you will really have no desire to watch again.

Average...

Not the action/drama, akin to Enemy at the Gates, that I thought it would be from seeing the trailor. There's plenty of dialogue, that's for sure - and suspense, but it's a little bit TOO understated for my taste and borders on pretentious. However, I realise that the film was based upon true events and they couldn't exactly throw in the odd, extra explosion Michael Bay style! I'm just saying that perhaps they could have gone about it a different way - maybe a more documentory/reconstruction style would have added gravitas. I wasn't unhappy watching the film, though. I didn't feel like I'd been robbed of the two hours. I just nonchalantly hit 'Eject' and carried on with my evening.

Superb

I had just recently watched Inglorious basterds,and loved it so i did'nt think id be so lucky as o actually get two ww2 movies to be as good in the same year. How wrong was ? Truly a great film, and a true story. Even though you know ending.

too many british comedy actors and an unconvicing performance from Cruise. Save yourself a dull evening and rent something else.

very good account of what could have taken place during the attempts to assassinate hitler well acted, well cast enjoyable education into wwll history, i'd recommend viewing.
