Superb. I am a big Will Smith fan, but have been disappointed by some of his recent stuff. Not with this film. Its evocative and thoughtprovoking. Atmospheric and poignant. Slowly paced, the hook is revealed slowly and painstakingly. In the meantime its a pleasure to watch, you'll smile but feel somewhere that you may want to cry. Gradually the films title is revealed. The end is haunting and tragic but beautiful and inspiring all at the same time. Its about a lesson learnt and a love shared. And its now that you'll cry. Heartbreaking and inspiring.

Did not really know what to expect...but views were quite controversial

A Customer from london, 6th March, 2010

Not the usual Will Smith film, not the usual eye candy looks and happy jovial. More serious, gaunt and tortured look which the role demands. As with almost all Will Smith films he seems to command the only star focused roles. The film seems rather slow but not as slow as Benji Button however still watched at speed x 1.5 with subtitles on. Looking at the various reviews on the net, the views were quite polarized and controversial. Frankly don't know what the fuss is about, the decisions he had made was solely based on his guilt, tortuous suffering, etc.. If that is the only way that he felt that he could release from the bad karma and exonerate himself then that was his decision on his life and how he would like to best clear himself from it then so be it. There is no right or wrong way but just a way that was best for him. There is so much we do not know the depth of everything, in some ways we have become so called smart/intelligent but are we? That may be some of us may have become too judgmental. One has to be finally be at peace with oneself.
