Following a wild party, five friends are evicted from their student digs and are forced to seek refuge in an abandoned hall of residence in central London. They soon sense they're not alone and recall the story of a ritual group suicide that occurred in that same building a few years before. When they conduct a séance to uncover the reason behind the suicides, the answer comes not from the ghosts of dead students, but from the terrifying entity that drove them to their deaths. And now it knows they're here, it's not going to let them leave.

Stephen Gately acting!! Enough said. This film is really, really bad. Boring, not scary and very badly acted. Dont waste your rental credit on it.

Not a gore bore

flick09 from , 13th June, 2009

If you're ADHD don't go near this movie as you'll throw your toys out the pram and moan that it's too boring. But if you've got a bit more patience then Credo is well worth watching all the way through as it has a very neat twist in its tail. At first glance, this looks like a typical 5 kids in an abandoned building getting picked off. But it develops into something far creepier as the 'monster' is kept off screen (but maybe this has something to do with the £100k budget!) and you are forced to use your imagination as to what the hell it is! It uses the usual cliches of horror, but then turns them around to good effect. Okay maybe it's not going to hit the all time top 10 horror movie lists, but it's an interesting addition to the genre. If you're looking for slasher, porn, leave-your-brain-at-home fare, then you would be better off looking to the usual Hollywood splatter fests that are a dime a dozen.

Oh Dear

It was not great, although the acting didn't seem too bad at the time, the story was pretty dreadful!!! Perhaps, not so much dreadful, as completely boring.

Just not very good

Enzuigiri from , 14th January, 2010

So little to say here ... formulaic horror executed badly. One quite nervy scene when the claustrophobic is caught in the tunnels (actually made me breathe faster .. very well done) but other than that dross with a 'we've run out of budget' ending that made me realise what a waste of time watching the rest of the film was.
