Not the JKD I know

A Customer from Northern Ireland, 25th February, 2005

Anything I have ever learned and read about JKD always points to it's simplicity and directness. After watching this DVD for about 5 mins I just started to laugh... after 6 I had to turn it off. It was Terrible. What has Tai Chi Shoulder pushes got to do with JKD? If I were able to give this zero stars I would. Very Poor

It's Totally Wong

Matt Richards from Wolverhampton, England, 20th October, 2005

Michael Wong's DVD's cover his own unique styles. His Wing Chun is not recognisable to any other Wing Chun school and his JKD really should be known as JKD Concepts as it follows very little of the original Jun Fan syllabus. This particular DVD is utterly pointless in that it doesn't teach any workable techniques at all. It's more of a taster of what Wong teaches. I must admit I do like the way Wong comes across... as a bit of a nutter! He looks the part and is obviously a great martial artist. His training DVD's however, are more funny than informative.

Wing Chun

Kwanjangnim from London, 17th December, 2004

Some usual moves (shoulder push - nice!) in this DVD but generally very little detail and impractical, not sure if any wing chun artists would find this of interest.
