Excellent

Yet another film focusing on just the Jewish element of WW2 (the Germans persecuted many other commnities such as the disabled or Gypsies, and these are too often forgotten). That aside it was a griping film with plenty of suspense and action. The film focuses on two Jewish brothers who escape/avoid German capture. One brother is frustrated with the constant running, and would rather kill the ememy. The other realises that they could not defeat the powerful German army, and realises that in the short term running is their best option. Inevitable the brothers go their separate ways and battle for survival. The sense of community and working for each other is brilliantly portrayed, as is the constant fight for survivial. Not only from the Germans, but from disease and the search for food. For such a simple plot the film is fantastic. Their is constant action and suspense. The film superbly switches between the different worlds of the two brothers, but brilliantly keeps reminding us that they are only living a few miles apart. Well worth a watch.

Braveheart meets swiss family robinson... except after the rallying speech on his horse, the lead then eats it..... Jamie Bell is rubbish!!! Magnificent true story... not done justice on screen
BORING

I thought this film was entertaining for the first 30mins, but i found it to have too many flaws. The accents from the leading American & English actors playing Jews were terrible, the storyline was stretched out for 2 1/2 hours & the action sequences were less than exciting. A LET DOWN FROM AN OVER HYPED MOVIE
Brilliant

Daniel Craig gives an inspiring performance. Whatever you think of him as Bond. This is one of his best performances to date. Rent it you won't be disappointed. A true story about Belarussian jews living in forests at the beginning of world war 2. With action and drama this film is very very interesting.
Honest and quick
