Reprising their roles from Morgan's stageplay are Frank Langella, who won a Tony for his portrayal of Nixon, and Michael Sheen, who fully inhabited the part of Frost onstage in London and New York.

Dissapointing

TellStar from , 30th January, 2010

I was expecting strong performances from the main characters as this is really just about the two main characters (Frost & Nixon), however it was all pretty weak in my opinion. I think this was very much down to the casting and to be fair I think the actors cast did the best they could. The casting of David Frost in particluar was awful, he was nowhere near charismatic enough to be believable as someone who broke a President of the United States. Do your self a favour and don't be dissapointed - leave this well alone.

Nixon

Fascinating review of a historic moment in US politics. Prompted me to go and read up more on the actual Nixon story. Once i did it then became clear that once again HollyWood has used quite a bit of poetic license in this film, which was disappointing.

even if you don't know about watergate this film is compelling and grabs you from the beginning. the characters are played without any holds barred. no one man is ever a saint but the giants battle to find a level of respect for each other.
