consistently GRUDGE style

Sarmad Niaz from High Wycombe, 20th May, 2009

At first i was weary renting this 3rd sequel to the grudge series as it was straight to DVD. however it sticks to the same grudge format true to its original...a few good shocks and a storyline that will make you intrigued till the end

Complete and utter rubbish

William Brown from Edinburgh, 8th June, 2009

Ludicrously bad. The first - Japanese -version scared the wits out of folk. Being the second sequel to the American remake this is what you would expect such a thing to be. Unimaginative nonsense. Walter the wimp from Dennis the Menace probably wouldn't be scared by this. When the white painted boy and woman come crawling along they just look like two morons painted white and making stupid faces. You wouldn't feel any need to run away from them. All that went through my head was why isn't someone just saying 'Goani stoap that?' If you like this you need help.

Must be me again, eh ?

Well, having read some of the reviews for this film from other's - I am beginning to wonder if I am just easily pleased. Yes, I am a horror fan, Grudge film series fan - but I thought this was a pretty well put together film - with some good acting - and an interesting ending. None of this films have let me down yet. The opening sequence was, okay, predictable, but still well done. I enjoyed Shawnee Smith's cameo appearances and even more so seeing good old 'Counselor Troi from Star Trek' - meeting her maker so gruesomely. It also did a good job of connecting it's storyline to both the original and in particular the second film. I would definetly recommend it, if you have enjoyed the two films previously.

unoriginal but effective

klein from from Blackwood, 29th December, 2009

I guess the idea is wearing thin for some, but this is a well made chiller with some unsettling scenes. I wanted to laugh at one point, but I changed my mind when the ghastly creation revealed itself. Predictable but rather shocking.

Grudge 3 is ok. It does make you jump a few times and is a little bloody too.
