2 hours of your life youll never get back

A Customer from London, 13th December, 2009

I realise this film is from an acclaimed director but seriously give it a miss, I was subjected to this movie via winning tickets on time out and whilst I totally get film noir and the concept this was just a bunch of poor actors who have performed better ( john hurt aside of course for his 2 mins appearance) stringing together a very bad script with virtualy one way dialect and a lead man who was so void of expression that the lack of dialect was painful.
where did they find him? he had the easiest script ever a couple of lines through the whole movie! and while that might work for the arnies this guy just did not pull it off and ended up making the whole film look like a bad 70's cheap movie.

The whole cinema ( the ones that stayed and didnt leave mid film which was about half the cinema honestly!) left bemused and apologising to thier friends for subjecting them to 2 hours of this.

I actually found myself forcing myself to stay for the end hoping it would justify the 2 hours of my life lost.... it didnt

If you chose to pay to see this movie you have sadistic tendancies towards yourself or your an avid fan of the producer no matter what he has the nerve to produce and sell as film noir-esque.. there can be no other reason for subjecting yourself to it.

I found myself actually admiring graffiti in spain for the most of the viewing and that was the most artistic thing about this movie.. I also have decided to direct and produce movies because there is no way on earth I could produce anything worse than this.
