Aha . . . . .

A Customer from Wolverhampton, 30th August, 2009

I see you, Pocahontas . . . . . set in outer space and all full of CGI, but you're still an old, old story . . . . . and you don't fool anyone

14 Years in the making!

effinjamie from from Liverpool, 31st August, 2009

Excuse me if I feel totally underwhelmed. Hyped to the nines and it looks like Fern Gully 2! Let me take a wild guess at the plot, guy put into 'avatar' body to infiltrate the aliens, falls in love , realises the error of his ways and then fights against his own people, from watching the trailer it's quite obvious where this is going. Meh!

And......

Infact I can almost guarantee all your favorite films have been done or told a 1000 times before, theres nothing wrong with copying an idea and making it better or changing it etc. At the end of the day if the story entertains then its a winner, obviously aint seen Avatar yet but old story or no I'll hold judgement until I have.

ATTENTION

funkymonkey from , 7th September, 2009

Right. I saw it at the IMAX on Sunday morning at 11am and I will say this. It is the most enjoyable movie experience I have ever, ever had at the cinema... if you like movies and I'm sure most of you do there is nothing not to like here. Ignore all the scepticism and pessimistic views being flung around here mostly by people that have not seen it yet, or have only in 2D (WHAT'S THE POINT FOOLS) and go and watch something you have never witnessed before. Isn't that what's cinemas are about? Witnessing something new and excting. Letting your imagination run away with you? Well Cameron has taken you there and then some. The visuals are utterly incredible and you really don't want the movie to end as you are literally engulfued in the beauty of Pandora. So the story line is a little cliche and the its focus on how we are destroying our plantet is obvious and yes we have all seen the story arc before, but I urge you to not worry about that and go and enjoy an experience you will never forget. I did not want the movie to end. Now how many films can you say that about? And for goodness sake watch it in 3D....as God, whoops sorry Cameron intended.

Need more like this

Crisc from , 14th March, 2010

I think we need more visual treats like this beautiful visual feature if you dont like the story the CGI make up for all else the money they spend on films we need more imagination and a lot more thought to go into producing the the overall title this is a great gift of a film .

Epic!

LKD from , 5th March, 2010

Saw this in the cinema in 3D. Loved every minute of it. Was really tempted to go and see it again and still might. Not sure whether it will have the same effect on DVD but if you haven't seen it you should definitely rent it. We'll be buying it on Blu-ray as soon as it's out.
