Dull

A Customer from Northampton, 22nd June, 2009

I never thought I'd say that about South Park, but I thought this was fairly tedious - no surprise it wasn't a big screen release. It's not very funny, nor interesting - compared to South Park The Movie, or most episodes of the series, it's uninspired.

South Park Imaginationland

This was typical South Park. If you enjoy Cartman, Butters and co then there is no reason that you will not enjoy this. People who are offended by South Park should steer clear

Is it ironic that this film is called "Imaginationland"?

Lewis79 from , 31st July, 2009

This movie was pretty hum drum, and as South Park goes, it just wasn't outrageous or offensive enough for me. The laugh count was too low for me to forgive the outlandish plot of terrorists attacking and taking over America's imagination. There's even a lame joke about 'Our imagination running wild', which they proceed to shoe horn in at every available opportunity. Don't get me wrong, it's got a few funny moments. Mostly involving Cartman trying to get Kyle to suck his balls, but it also pokes a bit of fun at terrorism and the ineptitude of the US government, as well as spoofing elements from Stargate and The Chronicles of Narnia. Even so, it's no match for it's predecessor, Bigger Longer & Uncut, in terms of plot or comedy value. It's almost as if they lifted an episode straight out of the series and padded it out to 80 minutes. It's watchable, but I'd only recommend it for hardcore South Park fans

Nice Traditional South Park

JJ80 from , 22nd June, 2009

Enjoyed the DVD thoroughly. The usual satire and utterly gross events in this special. The bonus episode Christmas Woodland Critters (or something similar) was stand out for me, just brilliantly disgusting.

Yawn...

Bester from , 23rd October, 2009

South Park fans will enjoy this but it is just ridiculous and pointless film. There are some great South Park style movie characters in it thou good and evil and you get two episodes from the series which tie in with the main movie story.

South Park Imaginationland

Pretty poor film. The plot revolves around our Imagination being attacked by terrorists and though there is a pretty cool theme underlining this movie, the whole thing starts to drag very quickly. At least there is no singing. I'm no South Park hater but this wis gash! Rent something else.
