this film is the sequel to Night Of The Museum, and is just as good. It stars Ben Stiller, Dick Van Dyke, Robin Williams, Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Rami Malek, Hank Azaria, Bill Hader, Ricky Gervais, Christopher Guest and Steve Coogan. When the Museum of Natural History is closed for upgrades and renovations, the museum pieces are moved into federal storage at the famous Washington Museums - namely The Smithsonian Institute. The Smithsonian Institute, which houses the world's largest museum complex with more than 136 million items in its collections, ranging from the plane Amelia Earhart (played by Amy Adams) flew on her non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic and Al Capone's rap sheet and mug shot to Dorothy's ruby slippers, Fonzie's jacket from Happy Days, the still from M*A*S*H and Archie Bunker's lounge chair from All in the Family. As Jedediah Smith (played by Owen Wilson) and Octavius (played by Steve Coogan) are sent to the Smithsonian by mistake, Larry (played by Ben Stiller) with the aid of a forwarded Cv sent to them becomes another caretaker at the Smithsonian in order to rescue them. However Larry and co, have not counted on Kahmunrah, an evil Pharaoh who comes to life with the re- establishing of a tablet as a magical force in the museum bringing the old exhibits (Such as Theodore Roosevelt played by Robin Williams and Dexter) and new exhibits (like General Custer played by Bill Hader and Al Capone played by Jon Bernthal) back to life, and in conflict with each other. Well worth watching !
