Jonas is a crime photographer, a family man, and a generally beleaguered resident of suburban malaise until he's involved in a car accident that leaves a stranger, Julia, unconscious in the hospital. Curiosity compels Jonas to visit her, but when Julia's family mistakes him for her boyfriend, Sebastian (whom they've never met), Jonas readily steps into the role. His pretense would be short lived, but Julia awakens with amnesia and, enlivened by the new identity he's inherited, Jonas maintains the deception. Of course, memories return. And so do boyfriends.

Pretty Good really - give it a go.

A Customer from ashton under lyne, 14th October, 2009

Not sure why it only shows as 55% with no reviews. I found this film quite entertaining, not too bleak (as some foreighn films can be), not too wordy, so the subtuitles don't make it hard to watch. There are some similarities to 'While you were slleping' in that Sandra Bullock pretended to be the girlfriend of a coma victim who she saved from death. Here the star is a pretend boyfriend. There are 2 scenes in particular that are very graphic, one is a car crash which is the most realistic I have ever seen, and very well filmed and shown; the other is an attack scene (SPOILER ALERT) with some graphic crunching of bone noises and bludgeoning going on. Overall I really enjoyed it, it was cringeworthy when the pretence starts, and gets tense as it all unravels around the main character.

Yes!

I have a thing for Danish thrillers at the moment. They just get it right every time. This one did not let me down. It really had me gripped. If you enjoy it i would recommend checking out 'Murk' after. Another winner.

Stylish Danish Thriller

Jon Duckworth from Nottingham, England, 19th January, 2010

Okay, so the premise owes more than a little to 'While You Were Sleeping', but 'Just Another Love Story' takes the central idea of someone pretending to be the lover of a coma victim to a far darker conclusion. Though nicely acted, the main characters are on the unlikeable side and, though convincingly played, the actions of the lead male character, Jonas, are almost too far-fetched to believe. But this Danish thriller succeeds by unravelling its whole slightly barmy story with stylish directorial flair and a fine line in jet black humour. The end result is an agreeably dark and comic walk on the wild side with some interesting observations on romance and domestic life thrown in for good measure. Some clunky moments and contrivances aside, this is a good watch.
