Solid 3*

Good film, Funny in parts but very predictable. We enjoyed it and Ricky Gervais was at his usual best with his dry yet funny sense of humour.

RICKY TRIES

GRASSER from from Stockport, 10th February, 2010

Not a bad film...but not too good, either. I like Ricky Gervais, but he's not as funny in this US film. Perhaps you expect him to be more of his previous characters and. although he does hint towards what we know him best for, it doesn't come over very well in this movie. His transition to the big screen doesn't always come up to expectations (unfortunately). GED

Decent & Different

TimeZebra from from Leicester, 26th January, 2010

A good debut from Gervais in this supernatural offbeat rom-com. There are some laugh-out-loud moments and enough drama to hold your attention. Kinnear is brilliant as always and Tea Leoni adds a nervous charm to the mix. The plot is straight forward but there are enough twists to keep you interested and the story might not play out in quite the way you think. This gives the film a different, almost novel feel compared to it's rivals. I wouldn't necessarily recommend buying this film but it's definitely worth a watch. - TZ
