DOGHOUSE

A Customer from Carshalton, 25th March, 2009

I WAS FORTUNATE TO GET TO SEE A PREVIEW OF DOGHOUSE THIS WEEK I CAN CONFIRM IT IS THE FUNNIEST COMEDY HORROR SINCE 'SHAUN' THE CAST READS LIKE A WHOS WHO OF UP AND COMING BRIT ACTORS, THE JOKES AND ONELINERS COME THICK AND FAST AS THE PROTAGONISTS DEAL WITH THEIR PREDICAMENT! THE WEALTH OF ACTING TALENT ALONE MAKES THIS MOVIE A MUST SEE, EVEN IF IT ISN'T YOUR USUAL FAYRE IT'S WORTH A LOOK, IN THE WORDS OF DANNY DYER AT THE PREVIEW ' IT'S NO MASTERPIECE BUT IT'S FUNNY AS F*CK!' I MUST AGREE IT WONT CHALLENGE THE GREY MATTER TOO MUCH BUT IT WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH.............ALOT!

Great lads film.

Ant from Worcester, 19th October, 2009

This film was always going to be compared to Shaun Of The Dead and it is very much the same except a little bit more stupid. The comedy is a more adult and as i found with Shaun Of The Dead, it gets funnier the more you watch it. This film has some well known British actors who pop up from time to time, almost like a who's who of the british film world. Danny Dyer and Stephen Graham are the bees knees as they usually are and all in all it was an enjoyable film.It just lacked something which stopped it getting full marks. 4 Stars!

A Customer from Milton Keynes, 5th November, 2009

a very poor shaun of the dead with unfunny gags, poor acting and awful chemistry. This film will be forgotten by the time christmas is over . Long live Danny Dryer and Stephen Graham but come on guys you have so much more to offer ! don't just do it for the pay cheque !!

Zombie fun !

Jazmin from , 16th March, 2010

I'm not a chick that's into horror. I thought i'd give it a go as a Danny Dyer fan & knowin Noel from Doctor Who. I was pleasantly surprised, I don't think i've laughed so much for ages while watching a flick. The scene with Danny tied to the chair with the fat lady was funny & gross at same time. I'd totally recommend it.

In the Doghouse

Minopater from , 15th March, 2010

This is the plot: a group of chavvy lads argue with their missuses and birds because they're all off for a weekend away with another chav, albeit a sensitive one,to help him recover from an emotional divorce. But when they arrive they find that the village has been taken over by a band of female zombies who are intent on bumping them off. In short, extreme feminism versus boorish male chauvinism. And, by the way, this is supposed to be a black comedy.Trouble is the jokes and funny situations are few and far between and when they appear they barely raise a smile. The special effects are lamentable and the whole thing is one big, embarrassing mishmash not even up to the standard of a Chuckle Brothers half hour. I was told that this film was better than Horne and Corden's much criticised 'Lesbian Vampire Kilers' so what must that be like ? I've no plans to find out !
