Van Damme proves hes like a fine wine...getting better with age as in his film 'in hell' his stand as a serious actor has to be recognised, and i forgive you for all those awful movies in the past, JCVD is great and so is JCVD's acting in it.!

What A Waste, Damme BAD

StarTiger63 from , 23rd April, 2009

Hugely disappointed, first gripe is why oh why was this just a subtitled movie, would have been better dubbed in English, van Damme can speak very good English. I stopped watching after 15 mins, I hate subtitled movies, what more can I say. I am afraid that Mr Van Damme is going the way of other past stars, Steven Segal, Chuck Norris etc. just making movies for movies sake and just wasting countless millions of pounds bringing truly awful films, why can't these people just retire with dignity I am sure they have made enough money out of their success, if not then they had the chance when times were good. Just stop producing garbage, it is unfair on everyone.

Turned it off after 15-25 minutes; mainly subtitled due to the dialog being in French. I just havn't the patience to read subtitles through a film like this!!

Did not enjoy this film in the slightest. Very disappointed, very slow film, so bad I had to finish it half way as I couldn't stand any more.

Worth Watching!

redeye83 from from Milton Keynes, UK, 15th February, 2010

This is VD at his best I think. Yes alot of it is in subtiles but if it was all in english it would not be as powerful. The entire film drip feeds you the story untill your left waiting with baited breath for him to kick some ass, will he be the hero everyone thinks he is or the criminal? Watch it and find out. Might have to buy this now to add to my collection.

I enjoyed watching JCVD

A Customer from London, 14th February, 2010

I am a big fan of Jean Claude Van Damme. You dont see like full on kick ass Karate moves like his other movies, but he makes you sit back and enjoy his different role which I have never seen before. You need to watch it to know what I am talking about. I recommend it anyone, so check it out.
