Sometimes the best way to overcome fear is to confront it head on--or so goes the philosophy that lands a group of timid passengers looking to defeat their fear of flying aboard a jumbo 747 jetliner. However, the friendly skies become deadly when turbulence rips through the jet, leaving it disabled and vulnerable to hijacking by a deranged terrorist carrying enough nerve gas to annihilate the entire state of Rhode Island! In the face of incredible odds, a meek aircraft engineer (Craig Sheffer) must overcome his greatest fears in order to prevent doomsday.

Turbulence 2 : Fear of flying

marc whelan from Milton Keynes, 8th July, 2004

A sequel flying high on the back of the Ray Liotta flick that in some respects had some great elements - a by the numbers siege film that borrows heavily from the 'Gung Ho' action movies. Surprisingly whilst this sometimes becomes a bit turbulent in itself, it does manage to accomplish a few twists and turns as the plane ducks and dives - this is what i'd rate as a Friday nite flick - watch it and let the grey matter absorb it whilst downing an amber nectar - the action is fairly constant and the plot has had some thought put into it- go on its worth a watch flyboy

Customer Review

A Customer from UK, 23rd June, 2008

I rented this from Amazon and i really didn't expect much from it and i didn't get much from it in the end.

I don't want to knock this film if you like it because if you have seen it and liked it then thats great, but i just found it a bit boring.I must admit i did laugh at several scenes early on in the film but that was due to me finding some scenes utterly unbelievable and the acting shockingly bad.

I would say about this film, just imagine an early sunday afternoon movie put on an unheard of channel(except it couldn't be because of the swearing in it but you get what i mean).Overall it's quite a poor film but this is just my opinion and if you like it then great, but it's not for me.

Ok

A Customer from uk, 5th October, 2004

Not bad film. I thought I'd give it a go as I seen the first one. Violence and some blood with an ok but seen before story line.
