Really Great Show

A Customer from Cardiff, 16th November, 2008

I saw this show when it was on ITV and I'm looking forward to seeing it again. It was an amazing doco exposing the poker world and I really felt that I was learning how to be a better player too. My wife doesn't have any interest in the game but she loved the show just as much as me. I liked learning how to make money but she really liked the characters they interview - some of them are very funny. This really is a must see.

Handy

The main feature is slightly cheesy and overblown at times, and its advice a little basic. Entertaining though. But the real value for me was the bonus feature, where you had an hour's worth of the top pros (big names like Helmuth, Townsend, Chris Ferguson, Ian Frazer, The Devilfish of course) imparting their wisdom. Great advice, interesting theories, and stories of how they got into the great game of poker. Won't (necessarily) make you a millionaire of course, but well worth a watch!

Brim full of tips and knowledge

A Customer from Thame, 22nd April, 2009

The main feature of this DVD is maybe a little disappointing. It plays out a little like a reality TV show where players go up against each other to win the show. Where the DVD's real meat lies is in the Pro's tips content. The amount of knowledge and information here is awesome. One of the better poker teaching DVD's that I've watched.
