So much has now been said about the turbulent life and phenomenal career of Michael Jackson that it has become almost impossible to disentangle the man from the myth.

Perhaps more than any other icon in history of popular music, Michael Jackson was a charismatic but elusive figure of many heated debates. But one fact will forever remain undisputed... his extraordinary talent for creating truly original music, loved by millions. And despite setbacks that would have ended careers of lesser men, Michael Jackson's legions of fans remain as loyal today as they have ever been and his accomplishments as the King of Pop during the 1980's will always remain some of the most impressive in music history.

Featuring candid contributions from Janet Jackson, Brooke Shields, Gladys Knight and from the King of Pop himself. Plus rare behind the scenes footage, this documentary dares look into the life of one of the most enigmatic and flamboyant pop stars of our time.

Superb

Well, i've just watched this and i don't understand the previous reviews. I thought it was magnificent, remarkable insight to the king of pop, how he was with ppl, caring and sharing. I think it was a well made documentary and the fan footage was excellent to watch. ! The way the media scrutinized this Legend is disgusting, I would recommend this for any MJ fan.
One of the best documentaries of this man, At only about 45 minutes long, it told me it all. Couldn't take my eyes off the telly.

Really Quite Awful!!

A Customer from Prestwick, 11th August, 2009

This short documentary is really bad! As another reviewer said, it looks fairly amateur etc! The songs are far too loud, you cannot hear the narator and it just seems to jump from scene to scene too much! Would not recommend highly :(

Avoid at all costs

A Customer from Leeds, 12th December, 2009

This was utterly pointless. They don' have a single original inteview, they don't even feature any of Jackson's songs - it's all cheap imitation versions. Most of the footage is poorly shot mobile footage, it's badly written and it's anachronistic - one minute they're telling you about 2002's Invincible, the next they're telling you he sleeps with Bubbles the chimp and Brooke Shields is his best mate. They talk about things that happened in the 80s while showing you footage of a press conference twenty years later. It's exactly what you'd expect to find in the bargain bucket at a pound shop. Don't waste your time.
