The incredible true story of how an orphaned Jamaican baby, adopted by an elderly white couple and brought up in an all white area of London, became one of the most feared and respected men in Britain. CASS grew up in a time before political correctness and was forced to endure racist bullying on a daily basis, until one day when the years of pent up anger came out in a violent burst. CASS found through violence the respect he never had and became addicted to the buzz of fighting. His way of life finally caught up with him when an attempted assassination on his life, saw him shot three times at point blank range. His inner strength somehow managed to keep him alive but he was left with a dilemma; whether to seek vengeance as the street had taught him, or renounce his violent past. This is the extraordinary story of his life.

if you are expecting a green street or football factory then you will be sorely dissapointed, a couple of good fighting scenes but story is weak, and pretty detatched from football scene

Enjoyed

A Customer from Sheffield, England, 22nd May, 2009

As previously mentioned this isn't another Football Factory glorifying hooliganism. It follows Cass' life and details some of the major events that made him who he is. Once I realised it wasn't just going to be mindless violence and 'lets have it' cries I actually quite enjoyed the film. If you watch it expecting Football Factory / Green Street you may be disappointed, if you keep an open mind it's worth giving it a go.

Not a fan of football violence style films this is entirely different. I felt drawn into the story and got quite attached to some of the characters.

Nothing to write home about

A Customer from Manchester, 2nd July, 2009

Here's my review: Predictable storyline, unbelievably bad acting at times (especially from Cass's wife in the story), but worth watching if you can appreciate the culture of footbal hooliganism. Apart from that, you're not missing anything!

Great Film.

A Customer from Norwich, 21st June, 2009

DIdn't know what this film was all about but I'm glad I rented it. Thought it was a great story with quality acting thoughout. Violent without being silly, totally engrossed, nice.
