Liv and Emma are best friends who since childhood have planned every detail of their respective weddings. At the top of their bridal "must have" list: a ceremony at New York's ultimate bridal destination, the Plaza Hotel. Now, at age 26, they're both about to get married; they're about to realize their dreams; and they're about to live happily ever after. Or maybe not... When a clerical error causes a clash in wedding dates--they're now to be married on the same date!--Liv, Emma and their lifelong friendship are put to the ultimate test. Liv, a successful lawyer who is used to getting what she wants, including the perfect job and the perfect man, won't settle for anything less than the perfect wedding she has dreamed of for years. Emma, a schoolteacher who has always been good at taking care of others, but not so much in looking after herself, discovers her inner Bridezilla and comes out swinging when her own dream wedding is imperiled. Now, the two best friends who'd do anything for each other, find themselves in a no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners struggle that threatens to erupt into all-out war.

dont read the reviews...and only go with your girlfriends to see this :)

A Customer from Guildford, 11th January, 2009

i went to see this film mainly because one of my girlfriends was visiting and i knew she likes this type of chick flick but i was a bit worried after reading dire reviews....instead i was pleasantly surprised! dont expect to see it nominated for any oscars but as girls flicks go this was really funny and entertaining - the ways these two use to try and ruin each other's wedding are really inventive and hilarious. i found both main characters engaging and likeable. apart from the ending which left me a bit disappointed (wont spoil it!) i thought this is a perfect film for a girly aftrenoon or girly night in with wine and chocs - stereotypical image i know but those are fun things and so is this film :) just dont bring your boyfriend with you as they will positively hate it

Fliks for chicks only...

A Customer from Ashton-Under-Lyne, 21st January, 2009

Rather than waste each others time sabotaging each others wedding these two 'best friends' should have tried harder and sabotaged the script. If you are male and are forced to watch it by your partner, you will have to agree this is savagely dreadful, unsalveagable dross of the very highest order, if you are the significant other and want to torture your boyfriend this might just be the way you can kill any hope you have of a relationship. Be warned we suffered so you dont have to.

Save your time and money.....

A Customer from Brough, 19th January, 2009

The only thing good in this film is what you see in the trailers so save yourself the cost of buying, rent or seeing this movie but the trailer is practically as good as it gets. Not witty, not funny and if brides are really like that in real life I think they should get another hobby. So we see our sainted Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson be not so innocent with this poorly written and broadcasted movie practically destroying each others lives. Bit of a step down for both famous actresses as it was an epic waste of time.

Very disappointing

A Customer from Warrington, 21st May, 2009

As a fan of Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway I ignored the poor reviews and watched this film regardless... I really wish I hadn`t. While the concept of the film is good, I don`t think it was put together very well and I was left at the end thinking it was a pointless story with a ridiculous ending you could see coming miles away. Can`t understand why two such great actresses made such a dire film. Save your money and rentals for something else.
