Jason Statham is back as Chev Chelios, proving you can't keep a dead man down. Chev survives a jaw-dropping plunge from a helicopter only to be kidnapped by a triad gang who has plans for his seemingly indestructible heart. He wakes up three months later to discover his ticker has been surgincally removed and replaced with a battery operated pump, which needs regular jolts of electricity to keep working... cue pain. With gun-toting babes, Mexican mobsters and crazy Chinese gangsters giving chase, Chev hooks up with girlfriend Eve (Amy Smart) and sets out to retrieve his heart before it gets transplanted into the geriatric triad boss. With double the action, double the pain and double the ill-advised sex in public, "Crank 2 - High Voltage" is an electrifying, tongue-in-cheek thrill ride. No holds barred, out-and-out fun from start to finish.

A 5 star rating Hey? By your own admission, neither of you have seen the movie, yet you both give it a 5 star rating. And one of you is labeled as a 'Highly Rated Reviewer'. What a Joke!

This is so bad that it can't even be considered trash, some trash movies have merit. This smorgasbord of soft core porn, sado masochism, dreadful acting and dialogue has no merit whatsoever.Once again Jason Statham plays.... himself, which in itself isn't such a bad thing. However in a film this rank the Statham persona(think of a plank of wood)just adds to the overall 'badness' of the whole production. If you've got an hour and a half spare that you don't mind losing forever see it,everyone else, avoid.

Crank 2

Bonnielovesfilms from , 20th March, 2010

Watched the first Crank twice and could definitely sit through this one again. Incredibly, Chev Chelios (super hot Jason Statham) survives the fall from the helicopter in Crank (1) but goes on to have his heart removed and replaced with a battery-supported plastic one. The movie revolves around him trying to get his own heart back but constantly needs electical voltage to stop the battery running out. Much like the first Crank where he tries to defy the lethal Chinese cocktail that leaves him an hour to live, Crank 2 is hilarious as Chelios goes to sometimes ridiculous lengths to keep his plastic heart pumping. Fast, furious and very funny. Could the producers really come up with a third? Probably.

Crank - High Voltage

Boxoffice from , 19th March, 2010

A continuation of the main theme with a twist, it begins where the first film left off, as Chev Chelios fights to keep himself alive. Charging through scene after scene, this time in a bid to reunit himself and his virtually indestructible heart. Joined by the core cast from the first movie, this outing is insanely violent as the action lurches from one gun battle and sexual reference after the other.

Too weird

A Customer from glasgow, 17th March, 2010

I take a lot of grief for admitting to people that I LOVED the first film and even though I've read some terrible reviwes about Crank 2 I still though I would love this one. Sadly I can't say i did :-( It started off really well with the same set up as the first film but around halfway through its clear the plot writers had given up and were just writing any garbage. I mean, the bad guy from the first film still alive as a head in a jar?? As I've said in the review title, too weird!...

Marmite Anyone?

A Customer from Southampton, 12th March, 2010

When you watch this film it is worth bearing in mind that this is no oscar winner! It is so far fetched its brilliant! Good action, bad language lots of funny lines and deaths makes this a very enjoyable watch, you just need to watch this in the way the film intended you too!
