Great fun

its obvious from the beginning its made for kids but the high rate of action and the Rock's gags keep the story moving on nicely. a fun film which you wished existed when you were young to appreciate more. great for the family.

original suspitions where correct....

ferdyjenny from , 6th September, 2009

when this came out at the cinema' I believed it to be a cheepo rip off, watched now and this was confirmed, the original was just about ok but this is more than a disaster the special effects again are expected to 'make' the film' and they NEVER do they enhance a film guys not make it, so to depend on them is a very bad idea BUt they keep doing it,,you see it regular in remakes please use your minds and think of a story even a crap storyline is better than a rip of rubbish one.. the mayjor problem that hollywood faces is the controll is 'money not qualitys or abilitys if you can make your money to cover the outlay, do it thats the thinking Not let see if we can entertain??? this has been the line for many years and iam affraid will continue sad, yes !!! 2 stars only

Great fun

grammargirl from , 18th September, 2009

Having seen the other Witch Mountain films as a child I was keen to see this new one through adult eyes. I was not disappointed. Although marketed as a children's film there is plenty to keep adults entertained with the witty quips, American scenery and general good clean Disney fun. It was also fantastic, and a very clever idea that would have been wasted on children today, to see the original stars (Kim Richards and Ike Eisinmann) who played Tia and Tony, pop up in the roles of Tina the waitress and Sheriff Antony. A very nice touch to a great film, I thought, and they have hardly changed in 30+ years as they were easy to recognise. Another exciting film from Disney that should keep children and most adults (who have imagination) entertained for 90 minutes.

Whilst I enjoyed watching it,it was rather reminicent of the original first film of the series,I felt that more could have been done with the storyline.
