A group of interconnected, Baltimore-based twenty- and thirtysomethings navigate their various relationships from the shallow end of the dating pool through the deep, murky waters of married life, trying to read the signs of the opposite sex--and hoping to be the exceptions to the "no-exceptions" rule. Gigi just wants a man who says he'll call--and does--while Alex advises her to stop sitting by the phone. Beth wonders if she should call it off after years of committed singlehood with her boyfriend, Neil, but he doesn't think there's a single thing wrong with their unmarried life. Janine's not sure if she can trust her husband, Ben, who can't quite trust himself around Anna. Anna can't decide between the sexy married guy, or her straightforward, no-sparks standby, Conor, who can't get over the fact that he can't have her. And Mary, who's found an entire network of loving, supportive men, just needs to find one who's straight.

Oh My God ?!

A Customer from London, 16th March, 2009

What century are we living in again? I certainly don't need a film, book or man to tell me if a man I'm interested in is acting like a (bleep), I should forget it. This film seems to think all women are idiots who can't read between the lines. Ignore this patronising drivel ladies and feel better for it.

OMG the worst film I have seen this year

sallydee from , 6th April, 2009

Stellar cast - Rubbish film Under no circumstances waste your money on this film. Most of the characters are annoying and the others just need a slap. I felt totally robbed after seeing this film and need to warn people. It tells you nothing you dont know already! Seriously stay away. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

different

jflicks from , 10th April, 2009

not your normal chick flick it was very different not in a good or bad way just different. There were alot of characters to keep track on all holding different stories which interlinked throughout the film.I liked the cast and they worked well together it was simple yet complex at the same time.I came away from this feeling that it was ok i think they were trying to get a moral across to the viewers.A true depict of life i am not sure, it has a happy ending so for that it was ok...... sorry..........not a favorite

Im just not that into this!

whitehotblue from , 16th August, 2009

Words cannot describe how bad this movie is. When you think about the sacrificies Emiline Pankhurst and the Suffragette movement suffered to get the vote and equal rights for women, just under 100 years later, along rolls this crap. A great cast including Drew Barrymore and Scarlett Johansson run around wittering about men not calling back and not committing to marraige turn the whole women race backwards to seem that they all are just desperate, needy, whiny shrews. It got so bad i had to turn it off after 35 minutes. Absolutely awful!

Chick Flick

Proper chick flick through and through! Made me laugh out loud and a few tears - exactly what a chick flick should do.

Avoid this because it is rubbish.

A Customer from Leicester, 18th March, 2010

This film is neither funny nor charming. A waste of time. A bunch of annoying fools self obsessing with badly written dialogue. Not even so bad it's good.

Interesting

A Customer from sheffield, 18th March, 2010

Was very realistic on how men see relationships and women and bit frightening to be honest! Very funny at times and just plain worrying others! Good characters and all webbed into each story lines well. Loads of big stars too.

Dont bother renting this

Elihana from , 17th March, 2010

My girlfriend and I turned this film off after 20mins, possibly the worst film ive ever attempted to watch... We were looking for a typical romcom type film with not much depth, ie, something low key for a sunday evening... It failed even our low demands for film quality...
