"Hell Ride" is a raucous throwback to the days of the Sergio Leone spaghetti western, with a heaping helping of testosterone-fueled chopper action thrown into the mix. Pistolero is the head honcho of the Victors, a group of badass bikers who are out to avenge the murder of one of their members at the hands of the 666ers, a rival gang whose actions live up to their hellish moniker. Along with his cohorts, the Gent and the mysterious Comanche, Pistolero aims to take down the Deuce and Billy Wings, menacing leaders of the 666ers, but a mutiny looms on the horizon when his commitment to profit is questioned by a few of his fellow Victors. An even larger story unravels when previously unknown information about Comanche resurrects ghosts from Pistolero's past.

Hilarious!

A Customer from London, 1st October, 2008

This film is so bad it's hilarious. I watched Hell Ride half thinking it was a comedy, although I couldn't quite work out if they were actually taking the p*ss, or if this really was a serious attempt at making something decent. I notice it isn't listed here as a comedy so they must be serious! It's basically seems to be about a gang of pensioners who ride round on motorcycles shooting at each other and exchanging the most hilariously bad dialogue you can imagine. One scene inexplicably has two characters smashing bottles over each others heads, then showing each other 'get out of jail free' cards that they've made! Also check out Vinnie Jones' accent, where the hell is he meant to be from?!? Oh and there's a load of naked girls in it too, who for some unfathomable reason seem to want nothing more than to have none stop sex with these leathery skinned b*stards! The guy who wrote and directed it - a Pee Wee Herman lookalike with a Greeshan 2000'd beard and an orange sunbed tan - has for some reason cast himself in the lead role, maybe this is part of the joke, I don't know. Actually, the more I think about it the more I'm sure this film is a p*ss take. It's produced by Quentin Tarantino and it's possible he's released this in humour as a bit of a laugh. It is a total rip off of Tarantino's style, but just done really really badly. It is very amusing though, and I guess either way it could go down as a cult classic, either from being an amusing parody of the Tarantino/Rodriguez style, or something that is very very unintentionally funny. Has to be seen to be believed.

Fun with bikes

The Film Man from Colchester, Essex, 28th October, 2009

This film left me slightly disappointed, but it is still worth 3 stars. The acting was mainly phoned in and Vinnie Jones again shows that all he can do is look menacing but can not act. The plot jumps around but it is mainly a revenge film from a director who was trying to film it like Tarantino and fails, as only Tarantino can do Tarantino. Saying that it’s funny and sexy (some T & A) with a lot of violence. See it if you are into motorbikes but don’t expect it to be an “Easy Rider”

This film is just awful. The leade actor who was also the director was so bad, there was a smattering of the usual tarantino big actors for good measure but on the whole this film was terrible.

Disappointing

GaryI from , 29th October, 2009

I really had hoped this was going be a great 'western', stylish and violent. Well it has some violence, it has some sex, it has bikes and the soundtrack is good, otherwise its a confusing mess, with a story that is a homage to The Good The Bad & The Ugly but is poorly constructed and put together. Larry Bishop does not convince me at all, and whilst this is worth a look do not expect a 'Quentin' genre masterpiece despite his name on the credits.
