29 year old male, and i admit i cryed

A Customer from Birmingham, 14th January, 2009

I felt compelled to write this review after just watching this film, and i'm struggling to focus on the screen with all this water in my eyes. I had heard and read mixed reviews on this, so was sceptical as to what to expect, but i have to say that i loved this film! Granted if you don't like soppy films then don't waste your time with this, it won't appeal to everyone out there, but for those who like nothing better than to sit in one evening with a duvet on the sofa, then i cannot recommend this enough. You know get to know the plot of the film from the offset, so there are no real surprises. But even though i knew what was coming, i could not stop the bulge in my throat from happening, and i found myself crying along (I was alone, so it was OK) Will Smith's acting is second to none, and as a previous reviewer put it, he does get better with age. All i can say to those reading this review is, you must be interested in this type of film otherwise you wouldn't be reading these reviews, so please give it the chance, the worst that can happen is you waste a couple of hours, but you will be in the minority, of that i'm sure.

Booooring

Lin6663 from , 20th January, 2009

The premise is so ridiculous and the lack of any attempt to make it believable renders the film completely pointless. I am prepared to suspend my disbelief so far but to believe that a terminally ill woman would call some random bloke she had only met for a matter of minutes for support rather than her loving, caring sister is just downright ridiculous. I couldn't have cared less about the characters and am surprised this ever made it to the big screen..the only tears I wanted to shed were those of complete and utter frustration and boredom. The 'twist' is so clumsily that if you didn't see it coming you must be stupid. Go and see this film only if you are a masochist or suffer from insomnia.

is will smith becoming a better actor with age?

A Customer from england, 11th July, 2008

will smith is not just a comedy act, he can also be very serious and is a very good actor. in this drama he plays a man who will change the lives of seven ordinary people who lead normal lives until will smith comes along.

this is probably one of the most boring films I have ever watched. If I had gone to the cinema to see it, I would have walked out in the first ten minutes.I would strongly urge anyone who already feels depressed not to watch it.

Good film

A Customer from Devon, 18th March, 2010

good storyline although waits until the end to explain the full story therefore can be a bit confusing during the film. however acting is very good and the length of the film is just right.

Whilst I enjoyed this movie I struggled to understand what was going on. However at the end it all made sense. Will Smiths acting was as usual excellent. Well worth watching

forgetable and

Boatthink from , 17th March, 2010

I can't remember why I must increase this to 20 words apparently, or it will look like I dismissed this film as not worth the review. Well, it isn't.
