DIABOLICAL

Even if you are slightly tempted by this DON'T BOTHER,even if you enjoyed Aliens or the first one DON'T BOTHER. If you are bored with nothing to do DON'T BOTHER. If your boyfriend/girlfriend really wants to watch this film DON'T BOTHER. If this was the last film on earth PLEASE DON'T BOTHER

Nothing to see here...

I mean that quite literally.The film is just so damn dark throughout that it is almost unwatchabe.There is no point watching it on Blu-Ray because it makes no difference whatsoever.It is a tedious film anyway,with lame characters and bad direction.But of course the most important thing is the action,and again it's a big letdown.Everything has been done before,and done a lot better.There is just the occasional scene of a dark alien fighting with a dark predator,in the dark.... I was looking forward to this franchise,it had such potential.The first film wasn't all bad and was worthy of a sequel to build on.But this is a big step backwards and a wasted opportunity.I think this franchise is dead and buried before it really got going.

What's not to like?

It's got Aliens, Predators and people who die in interesting ways... What's not to like? The story line is pretty much non existent.... But I loved it. Well worth a rental.

Surprisingly Good

Watched this after the tedious 'I Am Legend' and was happy to see a good action movie that kept me hooked to the end. Not the most indepth plot but you wouldn't expect that if you picked this film. Certainly not as cheesy as it could have been.

Remember when nothing could kill them, well now your granny could do them over with a pointy stick. The film rattles along fairly well but is too full of predictable set pieces, been done better elsewhere.

Looks Brilliant, Felt Boring

I was never expecting this film to live up to previous Alien films so was not let down. I felt little sympathy to the characters and even a few days later have pretty much forgotten the plot if there was one. More annoying was the blueray disk did not have an english 5.1 DD channel without a commentary.

Like Aliens all over again!!

Not a bad film. Would've been better if the directors didn't try to impress fanboys too much. There's homage and then there's lifting action, lines and characters wholesale! Having said all that, it's good to have the predators back to being bad ass killing machines and not the buddy buddy types in the 1st AVP.
