Nice One Ewan

RSebire from from Liskeard, 18th August, 2008

I'm not going to spoil this for you, but its set in several capital city's and the cinematography is first class. Ewan's day is like most, work at nine home when the jobs done. But one day he has a spliff with his really nice boss, and things go from wired to eerie quick. Before he knows it hes got his boss's phone by mistake and is in with the in crowd. He falls for a woman he meets by answering his boss's phone (who's in a swingers club like all the woman are in this film). Hes happy and about to accept his new found happiness when suddenly, yes you guessed it, she dies.( -well actually disappears) In come the police and your attention turns to the nice boss, who reached out to Ewan to help improve his life or did he? Be ready for some serious twists. This is Ewan doing some fine method acting as we are drawn into a world of seedy underground expensive sex clubs. Disappearances, greed and exploitation. All portrait with though. A top class movie, well done to all the cast and crew. 4/5 RSebire

yawn, yawn, yawn

A Customer from UK, 3rd September, 2008

This gets my rating as being the worst film I have ever seen. How so many top rate actors ended up in this? I suppose in a way they saved it a little. The plot is thin, the suspense non existent and the end laughable. Never again!!!

Nothing deceiving about this DVD

A Customer from Belfast, 10th March, 2010

Was attracted to this film due, solely to having the delights of Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor to look at but confirmed what I thought that it was just the same sort of things I have seen before, spewed out again, wasn't necessarily a terrible film, just not very good and I didn't even find Ewan or Hugh attrractive in it.

average derivative thriller

A Customer from doncaster, 5th March, 2010

OK it looks French and stylish and this gives you hope that perhaps this will be different, inventive and will leave you to guess. No! it all fades away. Everything is explained. Wait for Ewan to explain how he works it out ........just in case you had missed it yourself. Hard to see how you could since the clues are laid out for you. WANT TO EVIDENCE THIS BUT DONT WANT TO RUIN IT TOO MUCH Its just feels like a film that is trying too hard...............but at least it tried.

A Sunday Filler

TinkerbellPan from , 13th February, 2010

Watched this a few moths ago and had to re look at the trailer to remember what the film was about, could have been better. It tries to give you suspense & excitement but doesn’t really get there. Its not a bad film and the acting & special effects are good. Its just……A Sunday Filler
