Gifted med student Ted Grey (Milo Ventimiglia, HEROES) arrives at a major Washington, D.C., as an intern, where he is met with suspicion and resentment by the tightly knit group of fellow young pathologists-in-training. Soon, though, Ted is accepted into their circle---where they each take turns committing a murder so that the others may prove their mettle by figuring out the cause of death and celebrate with drug-fuelled orgies among the dead bodies in the hospital. Things change for Ted, though, when his law student fiancée, Gwen (Alyssa Milano), moves to the city and helps to scare him straight. Soon, crazed Wallace Stevens-quoting leader Jake Gallo (Michael Weston) turns on Ted, putting both Ted's and Gwen's lives in serious jeopardy.

superb...................

This film is superb It stars Michael Weston, Alyssa Milano, Lauren Lee Smith and Milo Ventimiglia. The film is about a group of medical residents studying pathology, who devise a deadly game - to see which one of them can commit the perfect murder. When medical school student Ted Gray (played by Milo Ventimiglia) graduates at the top of his class, he joins one of the nation’s most prestigious Pathology programs. With talent and determination, Ted is quickly noticed by the program’s privileged and elite band of pathology interns, who invite him into their crowd. Intrigued by his new friends, he begins to uncover secrets he never expected, and finds that he has unknowingly become a pawn, in their dangerous and secret after-hours game, at the morgue - of who can commit the perfect undetectable murder. As Ted becomes seduced into their wild extracurricular activities, the danger becomes real, and he must stay one step ahead of the game before he is the next victim. Well worth watching.

disturbing insight ........

desmondsdoll from , 24th August, 2008

I waited for ages to see this and sadly I ended up watching it in three parts because I kept on getting disturbed, but even then I was still gripped with a morbid fascination. This was a really good, interesting thriller and that's coming from a viewer who didn't have chance to watch it all in one go, so probably didn't get the full effect. It makes you wonder if you really are getting a disturbing insight into the disrespect and dark sides of SOME pathologists - obviously not killing people for fun, but the poking fun at the bodies, messing around with trolleys with bodies on them etc - I know it's not a nice thought, but we do read real stories of this sort of thing - there are disrespectful people in every profession. I worry about my mental health, purely because I was so absorbed. Also keep watching after the initial credits have rolled.

Pathology

Do not watch this film if you are recently bereaved. Although it's fictional it shows health professionals being very disrespectful to the dead, and may upset sensitive people. Good ending if you can get through the gory bits.

CSI with a twist.

neo67 from from Hemel Hempstead, 13th August, 2008

As all the films now are either serial killers or how to solve murders this combines the two and throws in blood and gore,oh,and sex.the story is pretty basic, medical students try to out-do oneanother in how to commit the perfect murder, then when the bodies come into the morgue where they work, they try and work out how the person did it.Cue loads of blood, sex and biting. It started well but seems to lose it's way and then the ending seemed rushed and just....well watch it and see what you think. ps don't eat while watching if your sqeamish with blood and guts.

sick

I know the film is about dead bodies and disecting, but mixing this with sex.. in the same scenes... is grim. I didnt watch it till the end, i switched it off half way through.. which is uncommon for me. Have some respect!

I know that Doctor Shipman is infamous because he is a serial killing doctor but what are the odds of finding six other serial killing doctors all in the same hospital??? The idea is ludicrous but scary non the less and the film, although certainly not the best I've ever seen, did keep me watching to end, if only to see how such a film could possibly finish. Good acting throughout but it's not one I would recommend to anyone, athough I did find myself telling my workmate all about it when I got into work the next day.

One good guy pathologist student moves to a new school with a group of bad guy students , after being let know he isn't welcome he goes for a night out with the leader of the bad guy pack and they end at a back street whore house , drunk he runs out and the next day finds the door man from the whore house on the slab . This is where we find out the students are playing a game of kill then diagnose laceing it with drink , drugs and sex . We watch his demise and resurection , this in all is a very hollow movie that laeves you a little empty at the end and not worth the rental .
