Disappointing. :(

A Customer from Scotland, 3rd March, 2009

After Center Stage I was really looking forward to Center Stage 2 but I was unfortunately let down. The acting is poor, the storyline is at times cheesy and whilst the ballet is at a really high standard other dance films offer a better quality of street dancing.

Turn It Up

A Customer from Essex, 24th March, 2009

Following the success of the its predecessor, I was hoping for something much more from Turn It Up. It isn't disappointing; not by a long shot! But I felt that the writers could have put much more meat on the bone. As for the first movie, you have to be a dance fan to fully enjoy this movie. There's ballet, tango, jazz and a few other dance styles to lap up. The choreography is absolutely stunning. But where's the story to complement it? Lacking! The characters are beautifully performed but I was waiting for so much more. The cast and crew are obviously at the top of thier game but they just weren't used to their full potential. On the positive side, the story does take you in a few new directions and the attitude and perseverance from some of the characters lights up the screen at certain points. Turn It Up is one to see if you enjoyed Centre Stage but it won't blow you away.

Love a good dance flick!

Not as many cheesy lines as the first one, and definitely more edgy. Typical love story too - but not a tear jerker! I really enjoyed it.

Very good!!

Centre Stage 2 was on a different storyline from the first one. There was a lot of hip hop dance in this one. Don't wanna anything away but it was just as enjoyable as the first one in my eyes and well worth watching. Some of the previous stars come back in this one also.

better than expected!

A Customer from Harpenden, 22nd June, 2009

I really enjoyed this film! I read the other reviews on it first as i didn't think the first centre stage was very good. I was surprised by it! It is a bit like the other films out there (the dance ones) but there is a valuable lesson in there... never give up! I love the main characters in this, they don't seem dancy people. I'd defiantly watch this film again.. or even buy it!!
