super smash bros brawl

A Customer from yoxford, 1st April, 2008

ive imported this game from japan and its definately one of the best games i have ever played. theres a total of 35 playable characters including mario, sonic, solid snake. my favourite part of the game is the multiplayer, even if no one will play with you you can play people over the internet using wifi. in previous smash bros game the single player adventure wasnt very good, but its brilliant in this game. there is loads of game modes and unlockables. this game has the best sound track ever. overall its just brilliant

Blimey - disappointing

A Customer from UK, 9th July, 2008

I found this rubbish. Thought I might have got the wrong game. Although I didn't like Paper Mario either and everyone seemed to rave about that one as well. Maybe I didn't give it long enough. But it was just a 2D fighting game where you just bash your opponent repeatedly until they die and then come back to life again. I think I'm missing something but I gave it 5 minutes and neither me or the other half enjoyed it one bit. 5 minutes might not seem long but I think it's long enough to decide whether or not you like a rental game or are going to send it straight back for a better one.

Awesome

Well, I thought 'yes Super Smash Bros, oh no! Wii' But not at all the buttons are exactly the same from previous versions and you don't have to flail your hands around like a crazy person its just a nice sit down game... Definite 5/5! I love fighting games and SSB, is the best out :)

Should've been better

William Brown from Edinburgh, 4th August, 2008

This is all flash and bluster and no real content. Looks grand but after five minutes of bashing away and killing and dieing and killing and dieing and knowing that this was going to go on for longer than your will to live it just seemed such a waste of time. It's just stuff that's been done better before but with better graphics. Looks aren't everything. There's no feeling of triumph in winning or loss in defeat. You're just glad it's all over and you never have to go near it again. Run away, run away!

"Solid knockabout fun for kids or those with lots of time"

MatureGamer from , 25th September, 2009

A hugely successful franchise and it's easy to see why. This is good knockabout fun. Great for kids, easy to pick up and play. (But it also has a surprising amount of depth. This will keep them busy for a while, for sure.) It's not as much fun for adults or those who don't have much time to invest in this game and learn the characters, power-ups etc. I can see the appeal of this game, but it's certainly not for me.

Great Fun. Your Thumbs will ache.

A Customer from berkshire, 11th June, 2009

This game is well worth a good play. Lots of characters and lots to do. The story mode is pretty large and will take a while to play through. The smug blue hedgehog also makes an appearence. Great fighting and platforming to be had. enjoy.

Boring.

Elite from , 15th April, 2009

Me and my girlfriend are gaming enthusiasts, and we are highly skilled and competetive. This game therefore I thought was a perfect match for us. I was wrong. I first played this game on the N64 when I was about 14 years old, and it was the most fun ever! However, after the years, something inside me must have changed. After about 3 minutes with this game, my heart sunk. The gameplay is very linear. Hardcore fans of the series however will love it, with some amazing characters in it. I did force myself to complete all the stages with a character, but i was feeling less than satisfied after my gaming session, I guess this igame would be better for the younger and more casual gamers out there.
