Och it’s quite an enjoyable wee romp amang the heather. Focuses mainly on the after Culloden affair of Charlie and Flora. It’s well void of the true politic and brutality of this historical period but manages to mildly portray the Duke of Cumberland as the unlikable fellow he’s been afforded in Scotland. Don’t expect in-depth history. Just a little dashing, false, romance.
