Released: June 06, 2008

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere. With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favourite cinematic moments, from Indy's entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run.

Of course, pop culture's most iconic archeologist will whip through all the classic moments with the help of a host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short Round. Players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could in the best-selling LEGO Star Wars games.

The Indy Magic Is Missing

PumaMonsoon from from London, 3rd October, 2008

Much like the 4th installment of the Indy films this game is an utter dissapointment. I eagerly awaited its release after enjoying a brief spell with Lego: Star Wars and thoroughly enjoying it. However this is more of the same, which often results in dull repetitive levels that feel like they're missing something. If you loves the lego star wars games to death, I'm sure you'll love this, but after playing the first level I was already bored. BUY BECAUSE: - You loved Lego: Star Wars - You need something to remind you of the good times you and Indy had before Kingdom of the Crystal Skull DON'T BUY BECAUSE - Repetitive combat and missions - More of the same - Completing it isn't going to get you laid

Frustrating

A Customer from Guildford, 5th December, 2008

Where LEGO Star Wars more-or-less managed to overcome its many flaws through sheer charm and ingenuity, LEGO Indiana Jones is just plain frustrating. The choice of camera angles is as bad as ever, the platform sections seem to have gotten even more painful, the puzzles are more obtuse, the controls and physics are imprecise, and a lot of the new features don't work very well. It doesn't help that almost every function in the game can be triggered by pressing the circle button, meaning you often end up punching a friend in the face instead of picking something up, throwing an object, using the whip, operating a piece of machinery, digging a hole etc etc etc. I made it through almost the whole of LEGO Star Wars in a couple of (very long) sittings, but I gave up on LEGO Indiana Jones in sheer frustration after just a few levels. Some of the old charm is still there, and the LEGO cinematics are still hilarious, but the gameplay just doesn't work as well and the level design is more infuriating than ever. One for the incredibly patient only.

Enjoyable

A Customer from Chipping Norton, 27th October, 2008

This is a nice little game, the gameplay is simple but enjoyable, there nice lego indy moments and the graphics are sharp. The main downside is that its so easy, theres no real challenge in the main story game, I understand its aimed at young children but us older fans of the 3 jones movies do miss out a bit on the challenge. But all in all a nice game to rent but never an interest in buying.

SO bugged it ruins the experience

Chantal from , 16th March, 2009

Those bugs are pretty annoying making you start a level all over again even though youa re at the end of the episode because the bed you bneed ot push doesn't bulge or the truck you need to frive can't be driven anymore or even worse because you died on your elephant in a ravine and everytime you revive it tries to go to the elephant and youd ie again and again and again... Such a waste. The cut scenes are fun and the Star Wars game was so good, what happenned there?
