Season starts on fine form

puddlejumper1 from , 26th February, 2008

This is my favourite show & I have watched most of the season so far. The first 4 episodes in vol.1 are a great start to the season. Last seasons finale saw Atlantis left floating in space and so the start here is how the team handle the life or death situation they find themselves in. I won't give out any spoilers but this is a great season not to be missed, surprises galore, friends are lost & found and old enemies return. (spoiler sorry) My only dislike with the season is not enough of Carson Beckett, he is such a brilliant character being funny & compassionate and the chemistry between Mckay & Beckett is brilliant. Why the writers killed him off is beyond me but there has been enough fan support to show the writers thier big mistake & they have brought him back but not as a regular cast member. Hopefully we will see a lot more of Beckett in season 5, writers/producers I hope your listening to the fans!

Love Stargate

A Customer from Stafford, 5th July, 2008

Stargate Atlantis is a worthy spin off from the original Stargate:SG1. The first four episodes of this series are brilliant, but you if you don'y like Stargate, you ain't gonna like this either.

Stargate Atlantis - Season 4 - Vol. 1

Smoggie from The Boro, 30th December, 2008

It's Stargate isn't it...?? It's been around for years on the telly, and this is simply more of the same stuff, albeit we were expecting something much more improved, but this was not the case. One for fans of the series.

Season 4 starts

If you have watched the first 3 seasons, you are probably going to watch this regardless of what you read. Enjoyed the culmination of the Cliffhanger. Avoided the spoilers in the special features ( Why do they refer to episodes that you have not seen?) .

Picking up again

LMAO from , 14th March, 2010

Loved the start of the next season, but not sure about bringing in 'Samantha Carter', as much as I miss the SG1 team. Have they brought her in to placate the SG1 fans? If so, very cynical. Lets hope it works. I have high hopes for this season, as the characters do now seem to be 'rounding out' and evolving a bit more, even 'Rodney'. I look forward to playing catch up.

Very good!

A Customer from Kent, 18th June, 2009

I really enjoyed this disc, i was desperate to see how the end of season cliffhanger ended and it wasn't disappointing! The only problem for me personally was how some of the main characters talked without moving their lips much, being partially deaf I had to rely on subtitles alone which does spoil the tension a bit.

Great Series Continues

A Customer from Telford, 16th February, 2009

For Stargate fans with the SG-1 now finished Stargate Atlantis is a must. Still snappy and Amanda Tapping is a good commander. Plenty of story lines still to go
