Assassin's Creed is the next-gen game developed by Ubisoft Montreal that will redefine the action genre. While other games claim to be next-gen with impressive graphics and physics, Assassin's Creed merges technology, game design, theme, and emotions into a world where you instigate chaos and become a vulnerable, yet powerful, agent of change.

Shockingly bad

MrBurns from from Swindon, 23rd July, 2008

Obviously, I wasn't expecting this to be as good as the home console version. However, I did expect it to be a decent and playable game. It wasn't. This was clearly a game rushed together, with no effort or spark involved at all. The graphics are bad, and the controls aren't exactly great. The touch screen sections are intrusive rather than integrated, and combat is poorly worked. This is the single worst game i have ever played on the DS. Avoid.

Nae too bad!

I've been without my xbox 360 for months as it's broken Iam eargerly awaiting Assassins Creed 2(&a new 360) I wanted to get in the 'zone' so thought I'd have a crack at this game. Whilst it isn't anything like the 360 game I actually really enjoyed it. Some bits are a bit tidious and repetative, but that has to be expected when you're taking a massively successful platform game and essentially minimizing it. The use of the touch screen was, overall, OK but could've been used a bit more and perhaps be a little more challenging. Over all a good 'chill out and play' game just to plough your way through whilst your bored on your lunch break :)
